photo essay

Proposal-

For this essay I am going to take pictures of "how to make a steak dinner" and make it into a short video.
i will use close up shot and medium shots to make it more interesting.

The target audience is for people that are interested in how to cook.

Evaluation -
whether it's guys dropping in on thirty foot waves, a family's first trip to Disney World or a plastic bag floating aimlessly against a brick wall, moving images have excited or comforted all of us at some point.
What we're perhaps less accustomed to is the power of still images. More specifically, series of photographs set to sound, used to tell a STORY. We frequently see this used in online journalism. I suppose you could call these "slideshows," but it would be more appropriate to call these "photo essays."
For my photo essay I photographed images of my little brother when he is playing with his toys. I wanted  to show that he is a important person in my family and I care for him. I shot the pictures from different angles - primarily close-ups and mid-shots as I wanted to put the audience into his world.
i took pictures of me making a steak dinner
and brought then into college and imported them into final cut pro where i
edit the images together. i used a fade effect of the beginning at the begging of the video and the end to make it flow better.

Improvement -
I could improve my video by making it longer with more images
and more variety of images i could also use more long shots and show more
about how i made it.
